I call these cookies “Irish” because their green hue makes them perfect for St. Patty’s Day.
Instead of using food coloring, I mix in anti-oxidant green tea powder that helps make these low-sugar cookies even healthier!

Hi,
This recipe seems quite interesting, but I have a question, when you say green tea powder do you mean an instant type of tea or do you mean green tea (leaves) ground to a powder?
Hey Katherine,
It’s the green tea leaves that are ground that’s called “matcha”.
A very happy holiday to you!
I am just wondering how much agave to use? I made them but am unsure if i am using enough agave in them…. Thank you for all the great recipes!!!!
