Chopping Herbs

Top chefs from award-winning restaurants have plenty of technique for getting more flavor into food, and some of them can be as simple as changing your grocery list to include fresh herbs.

You don’t have to be a trained chef though to use fresh herbs like basil and parsley, since they go with so many dishes from Italian to Thai. In this video, I’ll teach you how to chop them to add a flavor burst to any dish.

Now that you know herbs are “flavor savors”, did you know that herbs also have valuable health benefits as vitamins and antioxidants? In the case of basil and parsley, just one tablespoon of the chopped fresh herb will give you a good dose of vitamin K (an essential nutrient that is responsible for blood clotting).
