Cooking Class: 5 Healthy Ingredients or Less

chipotle-orange-shrimpLooking to eat healthy foods that shake off the chill?

Cooking healthy meals that are tasty too doesn’t have to mean hours in the kitchen. You can make sumptuous dishes, like chicken marsala, grilled jalapeno flank steak or spicy chipotle shrimp with 5 ingredients or less in under 30 minutes in this informative, fun class that I’ll be teaching at the Institute of Culinary Education on February 27, 2014 (6-10 pm).

Learn simple restaurant-style techniques that even beginning home chefs can learn (to cut down on prep-time and make healthier ingredients taste even better)! Other dishes for this course include salmon avocado ceviche, kale basil pesto pasta, tilapia in white wine sauce, orange scented snow peas, and cashew broccoli. For dessert, you’ll enjoy making a chocolate avocado shake and sipping raspberry pomegranate margaritas.
