Pasta Carbonara Light

I’ve always loved pasta carbonara because it has a creamy sauce flavored with mellow smoky bacon and nose tingling cracked black pepper.

But I never loved the sluggish way I felt after eating all that fat! Now you can have the lighter side of delicious with all the same flavors, plus peas and fresh basil to make it fresh. Don’t worry if there’s leftovers, this dish is great the next day and perfect at room temperature.
