Well, juicing red bell pepper with celery is the ticket to getting a tangy sweet juice that’s also bursting with vitamin C — that can zap unstable oxygen molecules that might damage DNA, cells, and organs. Should I Juice Organic?

Sadly, most of our favorite superfoods like cherries, blueberries, spinach and red bell pepper are on the dirty dozen list. By all means go organic if it’s in your budget, if not here are some ideas:

  • Try frozen organic berries and let them defrost before juicing.
  • Peel your red bell pepper with a potato peeler since most pesticides reside in the peel.
